I'm so happy to see Adobe's greed getting checked! It was borderline malware the amount of times it crashed!

Ive had a computer most of my life, starting way back in 1980, with the zx80, ive spent my life fixing photos, way before its mainly just the click of a button. I read about Adobe a very long time ago and kept well away, so its something ive never missed, from what I am hearing ive been lucky to stay well away, they play a dirty game from what I have seen.

12 years professional in Graphic Design for Software. Haven't touched an Adobe product with a ten-foot stick since 2015 if not more.

Am now use n cap cut and it's faster that Premier Pro!!!

Here’s my horror story with Adobe. I spent a lot of time transferring multiple personal mini DV, VHS and 8mm recordings so I can later edit and organize them. Almost a year later I opened up the program to work on it and couldn’t find my bins with the transferred footage (I assumed it would be on my hard drive) then I got lured into updating my subscription. Thinking that afterwards I would have access to my files. Nope. Now I would have to do all that work transferring all my tapes again. At that point I tried canceling and they wanted to charge me hundreds of dollars that I don’t have to cancel a subscription that I don’t use. I came across your video by chance. Hoping that the law suit will allow cancellation without penalties. In the meantime I’m stuck paying the monthly fee. Go figure. Thanks for the info.

I like to play the Devil's advocate... I support 100% what you saying for the Subscription BUT! I use only Photographer subs equal to ~15 AUD/Mo which means ~180 AUD/Y, the Adobe Photoshop use to cost more than 1000 AUD before Subs or around 800 AUD for students etc. to cover this price I have to pay Adobe for 6.5 years to keep the same version with some updates... In these 6.5 Years Adobe would have at least 3 full updates meaning I would have pay at least 500 - 600 AUD per update to upgrade my old version totalling up to 2500 - 3000 AUD!!! Now it costing me 180x6.5=1170 AUD!... All these WITHOUT Lightroom!!! That's whay I continue using Adobe BUT I would NEVER give them my photos as I am NOT using their Cloud allowance TRAP... Affinity (which is the cheapest I think) on the other hand cost 60 AUD at the moment on special and 103 for upgrade to the next version Without any Lightroom equivalent program (a huge for many photographers even only for the database...) Adding something like that equals the price if not more with the Adobe (without the power of their programs). I believe the first thing we have to do against ADOBE, whoever using them, to take out their photos from the Adobe cloud and let them expose themselves as from where they take the images for their AI... Just my humble opinion and I will repeat that I don't like Adobe subscription at all!... I would liked a more reasonable price for once and I could upgrade whenever I liked up to what they where offered each time... But in this case they wouldn't have the 20 B USD spare to buy anyone!...

Bezos is getting lapped, like the slowest runner on the field. There is no way he'll do it, his EGO won't let him call Elon. Kuiper will be bankrupt in 2 years. Another investment group will buy it and maybe in another 5-7 years they'll start getting kuiper online, With if they use SpaceX. Or just an extreme case, Elon will buy it and have another whole set of broadcast bands and more Low Earth Orbit zones available for use.

To be fare, Musk wasn't a rocket scientist aswell when he began. He taught him self through self learning. Its not that Bezos will never get to that level, it just takes a lot of time, effort and dedication.

the faster he gets his internet thing up and running, the faster he can making profit off it and also, slowing Starlinks expansion down. other wise his biggest competitor, in both industries is gonna keep steaming rolling along. at this point. if compared Elons space bizz and internet bizz to Bezo's. its rather best compared to a 500 foot train.....running over a pile of dogshit. like 10,000 steel wheels just palberizing it... lol

I think Kuiper is delayed because Starlink keep putting more feature in and Bezos want to match that.

They would have to launch 66 satellites every month for the next 24 months to get the required 1600 or so in orbit by the deadline, that's assuming they can manufacture them that fast; I wonder how many satellites they can launch on ULA's rockets at one time and how much each launch would cost? Seems cost prohibitive and logistically impossible at this point; If New Glenn was operational maybe, but that doesn't look likely either any time soon

Microsoft Windows - a SCAM BIGGER THAN THE ADOBE MODEL. When I upgraded from Win98 to WinXP many years ago now, I had to buy a different "licenses" to be able to run MS-Office on the new machines. TOTAL BULLSHIT... So I hired someone to come and install OpenOffice (FREE) and give my staff the necessary training and 6 months support and DROPPED MS-OFFICE. YES, IT COST ME A BIT OF MONEY BACK THEN but I have saved more than that amount over the years since then. There was unfortunately one "bad" side effect and that is that OTHER companies who were trying to get out from under the Microsoft BOOT were POACHING MY STAFF. As far as the Microsoft Windows family goes, we are VERY NEAR to converting to Linux Mint. Linux has NEVER been an "EASY" OPERATING SYSTEM but Mint seems to be so close to "nearly perfect" for our needs that it makes the eyes water.

Presonus so far has avoided going totally subscription (they offer both), unlike ProTools, which went Adobes way. I will stick with Presonus as long as I own my software. I've bought so many versions of Photoshop and InDesign, and sadly, Illustrator over time. I miss the latter but will never be on a subscription service. No Adobe. Be wise Presonus and other work shop programs and systems.

I am all for competition, when the success is deserved, not when like Bezos & Blue Origin, you repeatedly lie and even use false patents or legal actions to try to impede SpaceX. Meanwhile SpaceX is still willing to launch Kuiper satellites for much cheaper than ULA, but Bezos refuses to do so, which if I was an Amazon shareholder, would make me question is objectivity as chairman.

Staying out of the love or hate Elon politics. Just my opinion as a paying customer, I would love to see my monthly service in the sub $100 price point and competition would definitely help with that. With the current rate for fixed location residential service averages out to $4 per day (not including hardware of course ;-). My Starbuck coffee fix was way more than that plus sales tax, now I make my coffee at home and no longer have to commute 20 miles one-way to work savings is more than $4 per day to cover the cost of my internet service. I can say that they've been steadily improving speeds of 150+ down and 20 up during Netflix hour. In some of my download logs for my video podcasts 1920 x 1080 at least 2 hours in length that are scheduled for after 0200 hours EST, I've been clocking speeds in excess of 300 Mbps transfer rate per file. Wanting Project Kuiper to succeed, but right now they'll need to offer something really impressive like symmetrical gigabit connection on a 12 x 12 inch dish out of the gate. :-p
